Tapping

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a drug free therapy that helps with anxiety, weight loss, PTSD and much more. EFT is often called tapping. EFT is an evidence-based therapy that is being used by millions worldwide. EFT has been described as emotional acupressure, gently decreasing negatives emotions and allowing our amazing bodies to heal themselves. This gentle, yet powerful technique is turning heads.

Some pain that seems physical in nature (chronic back pain, headaches, migraines, weakness and fatigue, etc) can often be psychological in origin. Stress, anxiety, depression or the feeling of being overwhelmed takes a physical toll, affecting mood and health. The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) addresses the psychological side of a person’s struggles, focusing on a client’s present circumstances and emotional landscape. Through a combination of affirmative messaging and stimulation of specific pressure points, EFT can help to reinforce a positive mindset that allows you to move forward with confidence and fulfillment. EFT works quickly and is an excellent therapy for those going through an emotionally painful situation such as a separation or divorce where fear, worries and insecurities are prominent.

Tapping is a combination of Ancient Chinese Acupressure and Modern Psychology that works to physically alter your brain, energy system and body all at once.

The practice consists of tapping with your fingertips on specific meridian points while talking through traumatic memories and a wide range of emotions.

Tapping is simple and painless. It can be learned by anyone. And you can apply it to yourself, whenever you want, wherever you are. It’s less expensive and less time consuming. It can be used with specific emotional intent towards your own unique life challenges and experiences. Most importantly, it gives you the power to heal yourself, putting control over your destiny back into your own hands.

It’s estimated that 10 million people worldwide have used tapping to heal.

What is a Session Like?
EFT is lead-follow presentation. Client is fully clothed and in a seated position in a safe space. The practitioner will start the session with a discussion and questions to uncover the root of the issue that you require healing for. Once the root is identified the practitioner will lead the client through a series of phrases and touch points to help heal and re-program the thought patterns. A session usually lasts approx 50 minutes to an hour.
